Generator Maintenance Plans in New Jersey
Your Generac ran fine during last winter's ice storm. But the oil has been sitting, the battery terminals are corroding in the salt air, and hurricane season just started. JLC Electrical Contractors LLC's maintenance plans keep your generator ready to perform — not just ready to sit there.

The Process
What Is Generator Maintenance?
Generator maintenance is scheduled service designed to keep your standby unit ready when the grid goes down. Every JLC Electrical Contractors LLC plan includes the same complete annual visit, with oil and filter service plus checks of the engine, battery, cooling, fuel, exhaust, generator, and control systems.
The only difference between our 1-, 3-, and 5-year plans is the length of coverage and the amount you save. Choose the term that works best for your home and receive one thorough service visit for each year of your plan.
- One complete generator service visit is included for each year of your plan
- Engine, battery, cooling, fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems are checked
- Oil and filters are changed at the recommended service interval
- Active plan members receive priority scheduling during peak season

The JLC Electrical Contractors LLC Difference
Why JLC Electrical Contractors LLC for Generator Maintenance
Factory-Certified Generac Service Technician
Mike holds Generac's official service technician certification — access to factory diagnostic tools, OEM parts, and direct support from Generac's technical team. Non-certified providers cannot access the same resources and may use aftermarket parts that void your warranty.
Maintenance Records That Protect Your Warranty
Every JLC Electrical Contractors LLC service visit is documented with a written report, parts log, and date stamp. If you ever need to file a warranty claim, you'll have the paper trail Generac requires.
Local Knowledge of Coastal Wear Patterns
A generator in Colts Neck doesn't corrode at the same rate as one in Sea Girt. JLC Electrical Contractors LLC has maintained generators across Monmouth County since 2007 and knows exactly which failure patterns hit coastal units hardest.
Priority Scheduling for Active Members
Active maintenance plan members receive priority scheduling during peak season, when service demand is at its highest.
“We now have a new 'go-to' electrical contractor, following our experience with JLC Electrical Contractors LLC's installation of our whole house Generac. Everyone involved was courteous, professional, and timely.”— Doreen F., Marlboro
